DOCTRINE

1. We believe that the Bible, as contained in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, in the original languages, is the verbally inspired Word of God, and that it is the only infallible rule of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21)

2. We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and that these three are one God, the same in substance, and equal in power and glory. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 5:3, 4; John 1:1)

3. We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man (Matthew 1; John 1; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6)

4. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the merit of His shed blood; and furthermore we believe in the final preservation of all the saints. (Matthew 26:28; Ephesians 2:8, 9; John 10:28, 29; Romans 3:23-26)

5. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ arose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, as that in which He lived and died; that He ascended into Heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father; that He ever liveth to make intercession for all who come to God by Him. (Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 4:14; 7:25; 9:24; Romans 8:34; Ephesians 1:20, 21)

6. We believe that the true Church, is the body and espoused bride of Christ, that it is a spiritual organism; and that each one who receives the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord is a member of that body, and is indwelt by the Holy Spirit. (I Corinthians 12:12-28; 6:19, 20)

7. We believe that the Gospel commission is for the Church; that the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper are of Divine institution, and that Christ commands us to practice them until he comes again. (Matthew 28:18-20; I Corinthians 11:23-29)

8. We believe in the personal and glorious Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, to complete the glorification of all the saved, and to reign for a thousand years. We further believe that after the millennium the wicked will be judged and cast into the lake of fire. (John 14:3; Matthew 24:31; I Corinthians 15:51-57; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:10-15)

9. We believe that Satan is a person of spiritual essence, the author of the fall and that he will be eternally punished. We believe that the Devil was created Lucifer and was the highest created essence (Ezekiel 28:12-15) that due to pride of what he was, he rebelled against his Creator (Ezekiel 28:15, Isaiah 14:12-14; II Peter 2:4; Jude 6; Revelation 12:4). The Lord Jesus called Satan a murderer and liar (John 8:44). We believe the devil today is the leader of a great host of evil spirits (other fallen angels) who are organized to keep men from hearing the Gospel so that they might escape the pit of destruction to which they are headed (Ephesians 6:12; I Timothy 4:1; Matthew 13:19). We believe that Satan cannot cause a believer to sin if the believer submits to God and resists the evil one (James 4:6, 7). We believe that his ultimate destruction is sure (Colossians 2:15; Genesis 3:15; Revelation 20:10)

10. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust; and in the eternal conscious punishment of the unsaved, and the everlasting blessedness of the saved. (I Corinthians 15; Revelation 20:11-15; 22:11-14; Matthew 25:31-46)
